Pusher Operation

• Solids collect on the screen and feed liquors drain through

• The pusher plate rotates with the basket and reciprocates

• On forward stroke, solids are pushed along the screen

• Solids consolidate into a uniform cake

• On reverse stroke, fresh screen surface is exposed for new slurry

• Cake dries as it moves along the screen; wash liquor removes impurities

• Cake is pushed off the discharge end into the collection chute
